Delete your Rally account

You can have your Rally account and all data associated with it deleted at any time.
The fastest way: in the app
Open Rally → Profile → Account & security → Delete my account, confirm with your password, and everything is deleted immediately.
Or request deletion by email
- Email privacy@softwarecapital.io with the subject line "Delete my Rally account".
- Send the email from the address you registered with (or name that address in the email), so we can verify the account is yours.
- We confirm the request and delete the account. Deletion is completed within 30 days; you'll receive a confirmation when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials.
- Your profile (name, email, photo, area, skill level, bio, playing preferences).
- Your availability windows and matching preferences.
- Your gear list and private notes.
- Your chat messages, invitations, join requests, and block list.
- Your post-match feedback entries.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Aggregated reliability statistics of other players (e.g. their show-up rate) are mathematical averages that don't identify you and are unaffected by your deletion.
- Safety reports may be retained in anonymized form (with your identifying data removed) where needed to keep the community safe.
- No other data is retained beyond the 30-day processing window.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can have specific data deleted while keeping your Rally account. This covers:
- Activity history: your past match participation records, invitations and join requests, and post-match feedback entries.
- Messages: your chat messages in past matches.
- Profile data: photo, bio, gear list and notes, availability windows, and your block list.
How to request partial deletion
- Do it yourself in the app where possible: gear items, availability windows, profile fields, and blocks can be deleted directly at any time.
- For everything else, email privacy@softwarecapital.io with the subject line "Delete my Rally data", from your registered address, listing what you want removed.
- We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm when done. Your account stays active throughout.
Rally has no transaction history (nothing is bought or sold in the app), and profile photos are the only images — there is no video.
